San Antonio

We took a little trip to San Antonio for the weekend... it was such a blast. I love getting away from the busyness of life and being just the two of us for a couple of days. It is so refreshing and relaxing. Love my husband!! Here are some pictures to sum up our trip...

4 years

This past week M and I celebrated 4 years of marriage!

What a blessing these past four years have been... We have been all over and moved a bunch of times, but the Lord has been faithful through it all. Whether living in someone's basement, a cute tiny apartment, at kamp, in a family's guest room upstairs with all their kiddos, or in an entirely new city with new faces and no one we knew except for each other - The Lord has been SO faithful to us. He is so good amidst the hard, the new, the not-knowing, and finally the joy of being where HE truly wanted us. 

Baby, thank you for putting up with my tears and my questions. for loving me so well, and for allowing me to find my home in YOU.  So thankful for all the Lord has taught us over these past years and I cannot wait for the many more to follow. Love you!!

Early in May, Matt graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Masters degree!! So proud of my husband who worked so hard at a full-time job with our church, always gave me his best, loved on students, AND went to school! He did it, and after three years we are finally done with seminary! Praise the Lord for getting us through and for providing for us the whole way! He is so faithful and so good to us!

We were so blessed this whole weekend by our family from back in STL and our Texas family! Thank you to all who participated and made us feel so SO loved. And a special thanks to the Duke family for hosting the best graduation party ever!! :)
